Asociación Cubana de Personas con Discapacidad Físico-Motora(ACLIFIM)
Founded on March 14, 1980, ACLIFIM is Cuba's national membership association for persons with physical and motor disabilities, grouping over 80,000 members across 15 provinces, 168 municipalities, and nearly 1,900 community branches. It promotes the social integration, rehabilitation, and full participation of persons with physical disabilities in Cuban cultural, social, and economic life.

The Asociación Cubana de Personas con Discapacidad Físico-Motora (ACLIFIM) was founded on March 14, 1980, and is officially recognised by the Cuban Ministry of Justice as a non-profit association with independent legal status. It operates at the national level through a structured network spanning 15 provinces, 168 municipalities, and approximately 1,884 community-level branches, giving it one of the broadest grassroots footprints of any disability organisation in the Caribbean.
What They Do
ACLIFIM advocates for the rights and social integration of persons with physical and motor disabilities, coordinates rehabilitation programmes, facilitates access to employment and adaptive sports, and maintains community-level branches providing local peer support. The association also works on disability awareness campaigns and advocates against discrimination in all areas of Cuban public life.

ACLIFIM primarily serves the more than 80,000 Cubans with physical or motor disabilities who are members of the association and their families, working to ensure their full and effective participation in Cuban social, cultural, and economic life.
