Founded in 1954, The Arc Oregon promotes and defends the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, supporting their full inclusion and participation in community life throughout their lifetimes. The Arc Oregon delivers statewide advocacy, family navigation support, transition planning, and legal rights education through its core programmes.

The Arc Oregon has championed the rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families since its incorporation in 1954. As Oregon's state affiliate of The Arc, the organisation is based in Salem and works across the state through advocacy, family support, and legal rights education.
What They Do
The Arc Oregon operates key programmes including the Oregon Statewide Transition Network (OSNT), the Oregon Technical Assistance Collaborative (OTAC), and a Guardianship Alternatives Programme (GAPS). It provides policy advocacy, family navigation, and legal rights education for the I/DD community and supports local Arc chapters throughout Oregon.
