About

The Arc Tennessee was founded in Nashville in July 1952 when 65 parents gathered at George Peabody College to advocate for their children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Today the organisation is headquartered at 545 Mainstream Drive in Nashville and coordinates with local Arc chapters across the state.

The Arc Tennessee provides advocacy, case management guidance, educational support, and community outreach tailored to various life stages from infancy through adulthood. The organisation connects individuals and families to local chapter services including employment support, early intervention, and inclusive community programming.
