Confederación Española de Personas con Discapacidad Física y Orgánica(COCEMFE)

Spain's main confederation for people with physical and organic disabilities, COCEMFE groups 91 organisations and more than 1,600 local associations serving over 2.5 million people. About

COCEMFE (Confederación Española de Personas con Discapacidad Física y Orgánica) was founded in 1980 and is headquartered in Madrid. It is the largest confederation focused on physical and organic disability in Spain, coordinating 91 state and regional member organisations that collectively represent more than 2.5 million people.

What They Do

COCEMFE develops programmes on accessible design, independent living, inclusive education, employment, and gender equality for people with disabilities. It manages European-funded projects, provides advocacy support to member federations, and produces guidance materials on accessibility and disability rights.
