FACT Oregon is Oregon's statewide Parent Training and Information Center, empowering families, youth, and communities to navigate disability-related education and service systems through peer support, training, and advocacy. A family-led organization, FACT Oregon operates from the belief that families are the experts on their own children.

About

FACT Oregon (Family and Community Together) is Oregon's designated Parent Training and Information (PTI) Center under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, offering statewide peer-delivered services at no cost to families. Family-led and rooted in lived experience, FACT Oregon centers disabled youth and their families in all of its work.

What They Do

FACT Oregon provides one-on-one family support, special education guidance, IEP preparation assistance, transition planning resources, and parent leadership development. They offer in-person and virtual trainings across Oregon and advocate alongside families in legislative and policy arenas.

Who They Serve

FACT Oregon serves families, youth, and young adults in Oregon navigating disability-related education and transition systems. Services are free and particularly support those with intellectual, developmental, learning, and autism-related disabilities; multilingual support is available.
