About
Fiji Disabled Peoples Federation (FDPF) traces its roots to the Fiji Paraplegic Committee in the late 1970s, renamed Fiji Disabled Peoples Association in 1984 and restructured as FDPF in 2012 to represent the full cross-disability community across Fiji's islands.
What They Do
FDPF leads national disability advocacy and training, supports community branches, and coordinates through affiliates including the Spinal Injuries Association, Fiji Association of the Deaf, United Blind Persons of Fiji, and Psychiatric Survivors Association. The federation works to ensure persons with disabilities are self-represented at all levels of decision-making.
Who They Serve
Persons with all types of disability across Fiji, including physical, sensory, and psychiatric disabilities, through a national network of 17 community branches and five affiliated organisations.
