About

Founded in 1985, Idaho Parents Unlimited (IPUL) is a statewide non-profit based in Boise. IPUL houses the federally funded Idaho Parent Training and Information (PTI) Center — supported by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs — along with the Family to Family Health Information Center, Idaho Family Voices, and the IPUL Arts programme for children with emotional and behavioural health conditions.

What They Do

IPUL provides training and information on special education rights under IDEA, IEP and 504 plan navigation, early intervention services, dispute resolution processes, and transition planning for youth moving from school into adult life. Peer-to-peer support matches families with trained parent mentors who have shared lived experience navigating disability services.

Who They Serve

Families, parents, and caregivers of children with any disability (birth to age 26) across Idaho, as well as the professionals and educators who work alongside them.
