Inclusion Canada (formerly the Canadian Association for Community Living, founded 1958) is a federation of 13 provincial-territorial associations and over 300 local chapters working to ensure that people with intellectual disabilities are fully included in every aspect of Canadian life. The national office is in Toronto, Ontario.
What They Do
Inclusion Canada advances inclusive education from kindergarten through post-secondary, litigates human-rights cases, provides family-support resources and tools, and engages in national and international policy through its UN ECOSOC consultative status. It produces research, guides, and advocacy tools that help families and self-advocates navigate systems effectively.
