The Learning Disabilities Association of Canada (LDAC / Association canadienne des troubles d'apprentissage) was established in 1963 and is the oldest national organisation focused on learning disabilities in Canada. It connects a federated network of provincial associations and community chapters.
What They Do
LDAC conducts national advocacy, shapes public policy and federal legislation, and disseminates information on prevention, identification, and intervention for learning disabilities. It supports practitioners and educators as well as individuals and families navigating learning differences.
