What They Do
The Lighthouse provides employment, low vision clinic services, independent living rehabilitation, and orientation and mobility training. In-home rehabilitation instructors help individuals with vision loss manage daily tasks, use technology, and travel safely. The organisation also operates an in-house sign language interpreting department and over 100 adapted computer workstations for DeafBlind employees.
