Myanmar Deaf Community Development Association(MDCDA)

Myanmar Deaf Community Development Association (MDCDA) is a national Disabled People's Organisation based in Yangon, registered under Myanmar's Ministry of Home Affairs. The association was formed by and for Deaf persons in Myanmar to promote the rights and wellbeing of the Deaf community nationwide.
What They Do
MDCDA builds the capacity of Deaf community leaders through sign-language training, rights education, and vocational skills programmes. The organisation advocates for official recognition of Myanmar Sign Language in education and public services, and delivers community-development projects in Yangon, Mandalay, and Taunggyi townships.
