About this resource

About

DISAbility Rights, Education, Activism, and Mentoring (DREAM) is a student-led national organisation backed by the National Center for College Students with Disabilities (NCCSD). It was established to fill the gap in student-centred disability advocacy at the post-secondary level and now runs chapter networks at colleges and universities across the United States.

What It Does

DREAM supports campus chapters in organising peer mentoring, disability-awareness events, and accommodation-rights campaigns. It provides resources for students navigating disability services offices, promotes disability culture and community on campus, and connects student leaders across institutions to advance local and national policy change.

Who It Helps

College and graduate students with any disability — including those who are culturally Deaf, chronically ill, or neurodivergent — and non-disabled allies who want to support disability inclusion and self-advocacy in higher education.
