It was among the first companies to bring commercial exoskeleton technology to market and has received FDA clearance for multiple devices used in hospital, outpatient, and home settings.

What It Does

The EksoNR exoskeleton is used in inpatient rehabilitation for gait training following spinal cord injury, stroke, and acquired brain injury. The Ekso Indego Personal is designed for home and community use, enabling individuals with SCI (T3–L5 levels, complete and incomplete) to stand, walk, and climb stairs. Ekso maintains a network of certified therapy partner sites and offers remote monitoring support for clinical and home users.
