About this resource

About

Kurzweil 3000, developed by Kurzweil Education, is one of the most widely adopted AT solutions in K–12 and higher education settings. It provides a unified workspace where students can read, write, study, and take tests with embedded accessibility supports — available as a web app and downloadable software.

What It Does

Features include high-quality text-to-speech with synchronized word highlighting, word prediction, voice recognition for dictation, a built-in talking dictionary and thesaurus, highlighting and sticky-note tools for active reading, text-to-audio conversion for studying on the go, and a Read the Web browser extension that reads any web page aloud.

Who It Helps
