Voice Dream Reader is a mobile app with a devoted following among people who are blind, have dyslexia, or have any print disability. It is consistently rated among the most accessible and customisable TTS apps available on iOS and Android.

What It Does

The app reads PDFs, ePUBs, Word documents, web pages, Dropbox and Google Drive files, and content from Bookshare, Learning Ally, and Project Gutenberg. Users can choose from 200+ high-quality voices, adjust speech rate and pitch, set custom fonts and colours, enable auto-scrolling, and sync read position across devices. A built-in word highlighting feature keeps readers focused on the current word or sentence.
