About this resource

About

Founded in 1977, ZERO TO THREE is a US nonprofit dedicated to ensuring all babies and toddlers have a strong start in life. The organisation bridges the gap between research and practice for parents, early childhood educators, and policymakers, with a particular focus on the critical first three years of a child's development.

What It Does

The ZERO TO THREE resource centre provides articles, webinars, videos, and downloadable guides on social-emotional development, developmental delays, early intervention services (Part C of IDEA), the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) process, infant mental health, and trauma-informed care. Resources are bilingual (English and Spanish) and are reviewed by developmental scientists.

Who It Helps

Parents and caregivers of infants and toddlers — including those raising children with developmental delays or disabilities — along with paediatricians, early intervention providers, home visitors, and child care professionals seeking evidence-based guidance for the earliest years of life.
