Action to the Community Development Institute(ACDC)

Action to the Community Development Institute (ACDC) is a Vietnamese non-government and non-profit organisation established in Hanoi on 2 November 2011. A disability-led NGO operating for and of persons with disabilities, ACDC is recognised for its leadership in disability policy advocacy and community empowerment across Vietnam.
What They Do
ACDC works to improve the living environment for persons with disabilities and marginalised groups through policy consultation with government agencies, capacity building for disability self-help networks, direct community support programmes, and awareness campaigns. The organisation has a particular focus on advancing rights for women with disabilities and championing inclusive legislation.

Persons with physical, sensory, intellectual, and psychosocial disabilities across Vietnam, with a strong emphasis on women with disabilities, as well as disability organisations, community networks, and government bodies engaging with disability inclusion policy.
