Asosiasaun Defisiensia Timor-Leste (ADTL) is a non-profit, membership-based umbrella organisation representing 18 OPDs, NGOs, and faith-based organisations providing services and promoting equal participation of people with disabilities across Timor-Leste. It plays a central coordinating role in disability policy and government engagement.
What They Do
ADTL brings member organisations together for joint UPR submissions and CRPD reporting, coordinates sector-wide disability programmes, and advocates for national disability policy development. It acts as the collective voice of Timor-Leste's disability civil society in all high-level dialogues.
Who They Serve
ADTL serves people with all types of disability across Timor-Leste's 13 municipalities through its 18 member organisations, channelling a diverse and collective disability voice to advance rights and inclusion at every level of society.
