About
Coordination des Associations des Personnes Handicapées de Côte d'Ivoire (CAPHCI) is a national coordinating body for disability associations, founded in 2012 and based in Abobo, Abidjan. In 2022 CAPHCI celebrated its tenth anniversary, reflecting a decade of organising disability associations across all regions of the country through a network of provincial delegates.

CAPHCI runs awareness campaigns on disability rights and participation in local governance, publishes disaggregated disability statistics for Côte d'Ivoire, and delivers training for media and social media influencers on the legal and regulatory framework covering persons with disabilities. Its provincial delegations extend advocacy reach and ensure the voice of local disability organisations is heard nationally.
