About

Founded in 1990 following the enactment of the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Colorado Cross-Disability Coalition (CCDC) stands as the only statewide Colorado organization governed and operated entirely by people with diverse disabilities. Headquartered in Denver, CCDC takes a disability-justice framework to all of its work.

What They Do

CCDC pursues systemic change through grassroots organizing, legal advocacy, and legislative and regulatory engagement. The coalition builds self-advocacy skills in the disability community, monitors state policy, and mobilizes its members to influence decisions that directly affect disabled Coloradans' lives.

Who They Serve

CCDC serves Coloradans with all types of disabilities — physical, sensory, cognitive, psychiatric, and chronic illness — who seek full civic, professional, and personal participation in community life.
