The Disability Federation of Ireland is the national umbrella body for voluntary disability organisations in Ireland, representing over 66 member organisations serving people with every type of disability. DFI drives full inclusion and equity by advocating with its members, disabled people, and the Irish state to implement the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

The Disability Federation of Ireland (DFI) is the national support and representative organisation for the voluntary disability sector in Ireland. Based in Dublin, DFI's membership spans organisations delivering services across all disability types and age groups, collectively reaching hundreds of thousands of people.
What They Do
DFI provides capacity-building supports, policy analysis and representation, training, and information services to its member organisations. It advocates to government for improved disability policy, funding and legislation in line with the UNCRPD, and coordinates sector-wide responses to national consultations and reforms in health, social care, housing, and employment.

Voluntary disability organisations across Ireland and, through them, the disabled people, families and carers who rely on disability services — covering all disability groups from physical and sensory to intellectual, mental health and chronic conditions.
