DisAbility Rights Idaho(DRI)
DisAbility Rights Idaho is Idaho's federally designated Protection and Advocacy System, a nonprofit founded in 1977 that protects, promotes, and advances the legal and human rights of the more than 200,000 Idahoans living with disabilities through free legal advocacy and representation. DRI is a member of the National Disability Rights Network and serves the entire state from its Boise headquarters.

Founded in 1977, DisAbility Rights Idaho is Idaho's federally mandated Protection and Advocacy agency and a longstanding member of the National Disability Rights Network (NDRN). The organisation is committed to ensuring that Idahoans with disabilities can live with dignity, exercise their rights, and participate fully in community life.
What They Do
DRI provides information and referral, free legal services, non-attorney advocacy supervised by attorneys, legal representation in negotiations and court proceedings, and monitoring of facilities for abuse and neglect. It offers self-advocacy training and works on policy and systemic issues that affect the disability community statewide.
Who They Serve
DRI serves Idahoans of all ages with any disability — physical, cognitive, psychiatric, developmental, or sensory — free of charge regardless of income or location. Services reach across Idaho's urban centres and extensive rural and agricultural communities.
