Disability Rights Maryland is a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation and Maryland's federally designated Protection and Advocacy agency. Committed to improving the lives of Marylanders with disabilities, DRM provides independent, nonpartisan legal and advocacy services backed by federal authority to investigate abuse and neglect.

What They Do

DRM provides free legal representation and advocacy addressing discrimination in housing, education, employment, and healthcare; institutional abuse and neglect; community living rights; and access to benefits and services. DRM also conducts systemic advocacy and policy work to change laws and practices that harm people with disabilities.
