Disability Rights Mississippi (DRMS) is the federally authorised protection and advocacy system for the state of Mississippi and the only disability advocacy agency in Mississippi with attorneys on staff. Based in Jackson, DRMS is dedicated to advancing the civil and human rights of all people with disabilities in Mississippi.

What They Do

DRMS provides advocacy and legal services including information and referral, individual legal representation, systemic advocacy, and investigations into abuse and neglect. Its attorney staff can pursue legal remedies through the courts in cases involving education, housing, employment, healthcare, and institutional settings.
