About

Disability Rights Ohio (DRO) is a nonprofit corporation that has served as Ohio's Protection and Advocacy system since 2012. As the state's P&A agency, it is federally mandated and empowered to investigate abuse and neglect of individuals with disabilities and to bring legal action on their behalf.

What They Do

DRO provides legal advocacy, representation, and non-legal support on issues including abuse and neglect, discrimination, special education, housing, employment, community integration, and voting rights. Translation services are available, and the organisation accepts cases without regard to income level.
