Disability Rights Tennessee (DRT) is Tennessee's designated protection and advocacy system, a federally funded non-profit that protects the rights of Tennesseans with disabilities. Formerly the Disability Law & Advocacy Center of Tennessee, DRT has served the state with free legal and advocacy services since its founding.

What They Do

DRT offers legal representation and referrals, investigates allegations of abuse or neglect, and provides information, tools, and training to support self-advocacy. The organisation works across issues including education, employment, community integration, healthcare access, and institutional rights.
