About

Founded in February 1993 and formally registered in April 1994, the Estonian Chamber of Disabled People (Eesti Puuetega Inimeste Koda, EPIKoda) is the national umbrella body for disability organisations in Estonia. It brings together 16 regional county boards of disabled people, 32 national disability-specific unions and associations, and several supporting members — representing approximately 285 organisations in total.

What They Do

EPIKoda advocates with government on disability policy, provides legal advice to persons with moderate, severe, or profound disability in collaboration with the Legal Services Bureau, consults on accessibility improvements, and publishes a disability-sector magazine. The organisation also coordinates capacity-building and representation at the European level through its EDF membership.
