Fiji Disabled Peoples Federation(FDPF)
Tracing its origins to the Fiji Paraplegic Committee founded in the late 1970s, FDPF is Fiji's national cross-disability DPO advocating for the equal rights of all persons with disabilities. It serves as the umbrella body for five disability-specific affiliates and maintains 17 community branches across the Fiji islands.

The Fiji Disabled Peoples Federation (FDPF) grew from the Fiji Paraplegic Committee established in the late 1970s, expanding to cross-disability representation as the Fiji Disabled Peoples Association in 1984, and adopting its current name in 2012. It is registered under Fiji's Charitable Trust Act and is affiliated with the Fiji National Council for Disabled Persons.
What They Do
FDPF advocates for disability rights at national and regional levels, coordinates peer support through 17 community branches, and provides leadership to affiliated organisations including the Spinal Injuries Association, Fiji Association of the Deaf, United Blind Persons of Fiji, and Psychiatric Survivors Association.
