Federación Nacional de Organismos de Personas con Discapacidad de Honduras(FENOPDIH)

FENOPDIH (Federación Nacional de Organismos de Personas con Discapacidad de Honduras) was established on 9 June 2001 in response to the need for collective action against exclusion and discrimination in Honduras. It holds legal status No. 1365-2003 and is a non-profit, non-partisan civil organisation with 17 affiliated organisations providing coverage across 14 of the country's 18 departments.
What They Do
FENOPDIH coordinates national advocacy for the human rights and equal opportunities of persons with disabilities, supports member organisations in service delivery and capacity-building, and engages government and civil society on disability legislation and policy. The federation works to promote social inclusion, vocational development, and full participation for persons with disabilities across Honduras.
