FFO (Funksjonshemmedes Fellesorganisasjon — the Norwegian Federation of Organisations of Disabled People) was founded on 21 September 1950 and is headquartered in Oslo. It is Norway's largest disability umbrella body, with 90 member organisations and county branches across all of Norway's regions.
What They Do
FFO works with the Norwegian parliament and government to influence legislation and policy on disability rights, health, social services, and accessibility. It publishes research, runs public awareness campaigns, and provides guidance to member organisations on disability rights under Norwegian law and the UN CRPD.
