About

Established under the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, the Jamaica Council for Persons with Disabilities (JCPD) is the premier national body mandated to advance the rights, independence, and inclusion of persons with disabilities in Jamaica. Jamaica was one of the first countries worldwide to ratify the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
