Lithuanian Disability Forum(LNF)

The Lithuanian Disability Forum is the largest disability umbrella organisation in Lithuania, uniting 19 member organisations that represent over 300,000 persons with disabilities and their families. Founded in 2001, it monitors CRPD implementation and advocates for inclusive disability policies at national and European levels.

The Lithuanian Disability Forum (Lietuvos negalios organizacijų forumas — LNF) was founded in 2001 with the goal of uniting organisations representing different disabilities under a single, powerful advocacy voice. Headquartered in Vilnius, it brings together 19 member organisations and represents a combined constituency of over 300,000 persons with disabilities and their families nationwide.

What They Do

LNF monitors Lithuanian government compliance with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, submits shadow reports to international bodies, and participates in national and regional policy decision-making on disability issues. It represents Lithuania's disability movement within the European Disability Forum and promotes inclusive employment, education, and social services.

Persons with all types of disability living in Lithuania, including those with physical, sensory, intellectual, and psychosocial impairments, as well as their families and carers.
