Lithuanian Disability Forum(LNF)
The Lithuanian Disability Forum (LNF) is Lithuania's largest umbrella organisation for people with disabilities, founded in 2001 and uniting 19 member organisations that collectively represent 300,000 people with disabilities and their families. LNF advocates for disability rights in Lithuanian public policy and at the European level.
About
Lietuvos negalios organizacijų forumas (LNF), the Lithuanian Disability Forum, was established in 2001 in Vilnius to unite diverse disability organisations around shared advocacy goals. It is the primary civil-society voice on disability rights in Lithuanian public policy and a full member of the European Disability Forum (EDF).
What They Do
LNF engages with the Lithuanian parliament and government ministries to advance legislation aligned with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. It organises public campaigns, provides training to member organisations, monitors CRPD implementation, and advises businesses on making their services accessible to people with disabilities.
