About

The National Disability Rights Network is the national membership organisation for the federally mandated Protection and Advocacy (P&A) system — 57 agencies covering all 50 states, Washington DC, all US territories, and tribal communities. Together, the P&A/CAP network is the nation's largest provider of legally based advocacy specifically for people with disabilities.

What They Do

NDRN provides training, technical assistance, and policy support to member P&A and CAP agencies. It coordinates national advocacy campaigns, publishes research and policy reports on disability rights issues, and represents the P&A network before Congress and federal agencies. NDRN also monitors federal disability policy and liaises with international human rights bodies.

Who They Serve

NDRN's primary audience is its 57 member P&A/CAP agencies; through them, NDRN ultimately serves people with disabilities nationwide who access legal and advocacy services through the state-level network.

Community Note

Coordinates 57 P&A and Client Assistance Program (CAP) agencies spanning all states, DC, territories, and tribal communities.
