National Organisation of Persons with Disabilities of Serbia(NOOIS)
NOOIS is Serbia's umbrella disability organisation, established in 2007 and representing over 800,000 persons with disabilities through 28 national associations and approximately 450 local organisations across the country. NOOIS advocates for the rights, social inclusion, and equal opportunities of people with all types of disabilities throughout Serbia.
About
Nacionalna organizacija osoba sa invaliditetom Srbije (NOOIS) was established on 22 July 2007 as Serbia's national umbrella disability organisation. Located at Mutapova 12, Belgrade, NOOIS is a member of the European Disability Forum (EDF) and Disabled Peoples' International (DPI).
What They Do
NOOIS coordinates disability advocacy across Serbia, monitors implementation of the UN CRPD, engages with government on social protection and disability policy reform, and supports its member organisations in capacity building. The organisation promotes anti-discrimination principles, accessible design, and independent living for all people with disabilities.
