National Council of Citizens with Disabilities in the Slovak Republic(NROZP)

The National Council of Citizens with Disabilities in the Slovak Republic is the umbrella body for 20 disability associations across Slovakia, promoting rights, inclusion, and equal opportunities for people with disabilities. A member of the European Disability Forum, NROZP actively shapes national disability legislation and policy.

About

NROZP (Národná rada občanov so zdravotným postihnutím v SR) is the primary umbrella body for disability organisations in Slovakia, based in Bratislava and bringing together organisations representing different impairment types from across the country. It is a member of the European Disability Forum.

NROZP advocates before government bodies, engages in legislative consultations, and leads public awareness campaigns on disability rights. It participates in international capacity-building initiatives such as the EDF Ascend project, which supports grassroots disability advocacy across Central and Eastern Europe.
