Czech National Disability Council(NRZP)
Established in 2000, the Czech National Disability Council (Národní rada osob se zdravotním postižením ČR, NRZP) is the national umbrella organization representing more than 250,000 people with disabilities across the Czech Republic through its member organizations and regional disability councils. NRZP advocates for disability rights, provides expert legislative commentary, and publishes practical guides on disability law.

The Czech National Disability Council (Národní rada osob se zdravotním postižením ČR, NRZP) was established in 2000 in recognition that people with disabilities have many common needs better served by one overarching professional body. It unifies member organisations with a total membership base of more than 250,000 people with disabilities, and has established a Regional Disability Council in each of the Czech Republic's regions.
What They Do
NRZP advocates for the rights of people with all types of disabilities, provides expert commentary on legislation and draws up its own legislative proposals, organises national and regional specialist conferences and seminars, and publishes technical guides on disability law, opportunity equalisation, and rights protection.
Who They Serve
NRZP serves people with physical, sensory, intellectual, learning, and psychiatric disabilities in the Czech Republic, regardless of the type or extent of their impairment.
