Slovak Disability Forum(SFOZP)
Slovakia's national umbrella organisation representing persons with disabilities, evolved from the former National Council of Persons with Disabilities (NROZP) and a full member of the European Disability Forum. It defends the rights and interests of disabled Slovaks at national and European levels.
About
Slovenské fórum osôb so zdravotným postihnutím (Slovak Disability Forum, SFOZP) is the national umbrella body representing the rights and interests of persons with disabilities in Slovakia. It evolved from the earlier Národná rada občanov so zdravotným postihnutím v SR (NROZP v SR) and adopted its current name and identity to better reflect its mission. SFOZP is a full member of the European Disability Forum.
What They Do
SFOZP advocates for disability rights through legislative monitoring and engagement with government, coordinates the collective voice of Slovak disability organisations, participates in EU-level policy development, and works with the Slovak Human Rights Guide to support people with disabilities in navigating legal protections and available services.
