Slovak Disability Forum(SFOZP)

The Slovak Disability Forum (SFOZP) is the national umbrella federation of 20 organisations representing people with diverse disabilities in Slovakia, established in 2003 and an EDF member since 2004. SFOZP advocates for the rights and interests of persons with physical, intellectual, sensory, and chronic-illness-related disabilities across Slovakia.

About

Slovenské fórum osôb so zdravotným postihnutím (SFOZP) — the Slovak Disability Forum — was founded on 20 November 2003 in Bratislava and became a full member of the European Disability Forum (EDF) in 2004. The forum brings together 20 national organisations representing the full spectrum of disability types in Slovakia and can be found online at sfozp.sk.

What They Do

SFOZP advocates before the Slovak government and parliament on disability legislation, participates in European-level policy processes through EDF, and coordinates joint positions among its member organisations on issues including accessibility, social services, employment, and independent living. The forum also engages in public awareness campaigns and CRPD monitoring activities.
