ATIA (Assistive Technology Industry Association) is a non-profit membership organisation representing AT manufacturers, resellers, and service providers. Its public AT Resources section is free to access and designed to help people with disabilities and professionals navigate the assistive technology landscape.

What It Does

The hub includes a plain-language explanation of assistive technology and its major categories, a Funding Resources Guide with pathways to public and private funding (Medicaid waivers, IDEA for students, VA benefits, vocational rehabilitation, charitable foundations), research summaries, policy briefs, and the open-access journal ATOB (Assistive Technology Outcomes and Benefits, Volume 19, Spring 2025). ATIA's annual conference in Orlando is a major gathering of AT professionals, users, and advocates.
