Be My Eyes was founded in Denmark in 2015 by Hans Jørgen Wiberg, who is visually impaired, and has grown to a global community of over seven million sighted volunteers. The app is free for all users and available on iOS, Android, and Windows.
When a blind or low vision user needs help reading a label, checking a food expiration date, setting up a device, or navigating an unfamiliar space, they open the app and are connected to a sighted volunteer in seconds. The Be My AI feature—powered by OpenAI's GPT-4—allows users to photograph any situation and receive an immediate, conversational visual description in 36 languages without waiting for a volunteer. Businesses can also create branded channels so their customers reach the company's own support team directly through the app.
Be My Eyes serves blind, low vision, and deafblind individuals worldwide, providing on-demand visual assistance for everyday tasks such as reading instructions, identifying colours, sorting mail, and navigating new environments.
Ava is an ADA-compliant live captioning app that converts speech into real-time, color-coded text for deaf and hard-of-hearing users in one-on-one and group conversations. It integrates with Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams and supports more than 50 languages.

The Urban Xplorer is a lightweight, adjustable folding white cane made from aerospace aluminium, designed for blind and low-vision users navigating city environments. It comes in four sizes (Small through X-Large) and features a redesigned dome tip, hardened aluminium joints, and a foam grip. The cane is built to handle common urban obstacles such as cobblestones, sewer grates, and uneven sidewalks.

Google Live Transcribe is a free Android app that converts speech and surrounding sounds into real-time on-screen captions, making everyday conversations more accessible for deaf and hard-of-hearing users. Developed in partnership with Gallaudet University, it supports more than 120 languages and processes all audio on-device for privacy.
