The federal Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS) Fund covers all costs, making the captioning service free for eligible users with hearing loss in the United States.
ClearCaptions offers both a dedicated captioned home phone and a mobile app for iOS and Android. During a call, captions appear on screen in near real-time so users can read what the other person is saying. The mobile app includes captioned voicemail, three-way calling, call waiting, adjustable font sizes and colors, and Bluetooth compatibility.
