About this resource

About

InnoCaption has been an FCC-certified provider of IP Captioned Telephone Service (IP CTS) since 2016. The service is administered at no cost to US residents with hearing loss under a mandate tied to the Americans with Disabilities Act, with costs reimbursed to providers from a federally regulated fund.

What It Does

InnoCaption captions incoming and outgoing phone calls in real time on iOS, Android, or a web browser. A unique dual-mode feature lets users toggle between best-in-class AI captions and live CART stenographers within the same call at the tap of a button, giving users flexibility depending on call complexity.

Who It Helps

The app is designed for deaf, hard-of-hearing, and late-deafened individuals in the United States who need captions to use the telephone effectively.
