About this resource

About

Developed by Permobil, a leading power wheelchair manufacturer, the MyPermobil app brings connected intelligence to M- and F-Series Corpus power chairs. It turns clinical seating recommendations into an actionable, in-pocket reference users can act on throughout the day.

What It Does

The app pairs with the wheelchair via Bluetooth and surfaces battery charge level, estimated driving range, and real-time actuator angles for all seat functions. Users can store up to two preferred seating positions — such as a pressure-relief tilt angle or a vehicle-transfer position — and receive a visual cue when those positions are reached. Seating and usage data can be shared with a rehab therapist or physician for remote monitoring and follow-up.

Who It Helps

Permobil M- and F-Series power wheelchair users who want better visibility into their chair's status and a simpler way to follow seating prescriptions. Particularly valuable for people with spinal cord injury, ALS, muscular dystrophy, or other conditions requiring careful pressure injury prevention.
