About this resource

About

Nagish was built by and for people with hearing loss, with a founding team that has direct personal experience with deafness. Receiving FCC certification in 2025 and backed by $11 million in funding, Nagish has seen rapid growth and is now used by hundreds of thousands of people globally.

What It Does

Nagish captions incoming and outgoing calls privately through AI speech recognition and text-to-speech, enabling non-speaking users to type responses that are read aloud to the other party. Nagish Live Transcribe extends the same real-time captioning to face-to-face settings such as doctor visits, lectures, and airports.

Who It Helps

Nagish serves deaf, hard-of-hearing, late-deafened, and speech-disabled individuals, as well as veterans with hearing loss and seniors who want fully private, AI-driven communication access without a relay operator.
