New Mobility was founded in 1989 and acquired by United Spinal Association in 2010, becoming its official member publication. Both the magazine and United Spinal membership are free. The publication is available in print, online at newmobility.com, and through a twice-monthly email newsletter delivering product news and user tips directly to subscribers.

What It Does

Editorial content covers power and manual wheelchair reviews, adaptive driving and vehicle guides, pressure management and skin health, sexual health, mental health resources, sport and recreation features, parenting in a wheelchair, and in-depth reporting on assistive technology trends and disability policy. All content is written with and for wheelchair users, prioritising peer perspectives over clinical or corporate voices.
