About
PhonakPro's Roger system uses a proprietary digital modulation protocol that outperforms traditional FM systems, automatically increasing signal gain when ambient noise rises to maintain a consistent, clear speech signal. The Roger for Education product line is widely used in K–12 and post-secondary classrooms worldwide and integrates with most major hearing aid and cochlear implant brands.
What It Does
A teacher clips a Roger microphone to their collar or uses a pass-around Roger microphone for group discussions. The signal is transmitted wirelessly to a Roger receiver attached to the student's hearing aid or cochlear implant processor. An optional SoundField speaker system can broadcast the Roger signal to the whole classroom, benefiting students with mild hearing difficulties who do not wear devices.
Who It Helps
Students from elementary school through college with hearing loss, auditory processing disorder, or autism spectrum disorder, as well as parents and IEP teams seeking evidence-based classroom listening accommodation options.
