The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation has published the Paralysis Resource Guide for over two decades, and it is widely regarded as the most comprehensive free consumer reference for people living with paralysis and their families. The sixth edition reflects the latest advances in assistive technology, rehabilitation medicine, and disability rights law.

What It Does

The guide covers wheelchairs and complex seating, personal exoskeletons, smart home and environmental control technology, pressure injury prevention, respiratory management, spasticity, mental health, accessible housing, employment, travel, and legal rights. It is available as a free PDF and in accessible digital formats; hard copies can be requested at no charge from the Reeve Foundation's National Paralysis Resource Center by calling 800-539-7309.
