About this resource

About

Sonic Alert's HomeAware system is a whole-home alerting solution for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals that uses an RF mesh network to signal doorbells, phone rings, smoke alarms, and baby monitors through strobe lights, loud tones, and vibrating bed shakers.

What It Does

HomeAware components connect wirelessly without Wi-Fi dependency, supporting up to 20 transmitters and receivers with a range of up to 1,000 feet. Alerts are delivered simultaneously via bright strobe lights, sounds up to 113 dB, and powerful vibrating bed shakers for nighttime notification when hearing devices are not worn.

Who It Helps

Sonic Alert HomeAware is designed for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals and families who need reliable environmental alerts throughout the home, including overnight and in situations where hearing devices are removed.
