About this resource

About

Stellantis created the DriveAbility Program to make its vehicle lineup more accessible to drivers and passengers with disabilities. The programme covers newly purchased or leased vehicles from six Stellantis brands and reimburses the cost of a wide range of adaptive equipment installed by authorised mobility equipment dealers.

What It Does

Customers submit a reimbursement application within 60 days of adaptive equipment installation to receive up to $1,000 back. The DriveAbility website lists all eligible equipment categories, provides a compatibility chart matching adaptive devices to specific vehicle models, and links to a network of qualified mobility dealers who can complete the installation.

Who It Helps

People with permanent physical disabilities who are buying or leasing a new Stellantis vehicle and require adaptive equipment to drive or be transported safely. The programme reduces the out-of-pocket cost of modifications such as hand controls, transfer seats, and floor lowering.
